   Proposal Description:
   Specific Aims / Research Question / Hypotheses:    The aim of the study is to evaluate the prognostic capacity of certain biomarkers in early  detection of Alzheimer???s disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), or prediction for death. The AD and MCI is supposed to occur at an unknown time from the measurement of these markers, and the time to AD (and MCI) event will defined the disease status at a given future time. Time to death will define the mortality status at a given time.
